Congess bails out Big Wind?

Posted on December 10, 2012 by admin in Steve Bullock

In the wake of Barack Obama’s re-election employers across the country are being forced to lay off workers.

Obama’s EPA is waging new wars on energy, driving utility costs up.

So why are we bailing out Big Wind corporations with a special interest “Wind Production Tax Credit?”

The wind tax credit was created to “get the industry off the ground” — 20 years ago.

Two decades, and billions of dollars later, wind is still an unreliable, expensive job killer.

The time has come to cut off Big Wind’s annual bailout, but special interests are telling House Speaker John Boehner to keep the welfare dollars coming.

And he may agree to it.

Call Speaker Boehner right now, today, at  and tell him to oppose any extension of the “wind tax credit.”
