Investigators: McCulloch may be tied to voter fraud

McCulloch may face investigation over massive vote irregularities, ballots to voters not registered at legal addresses

Secretary of State Linda McCulloch, tasked with running Montana elections, is under fire for massive voting irregularities and financial ties to a controversial Hungarian billionaire opposed to voter ID and clean election reforms.

McCulloch’s narrow 2008 victory came after a massive infusion of cash from George Soros, a liberal Hungarian billionaire who has invested millions of dollars in efforts to overturn laws requiring photo ID at polls.

At the time McCulloch’s reliance on a billionaire opposed to clean election laws drew criticism from law enforcement advocates.

McCulloch has spent her term opposing photo ID and efforts to ensure votes are cast legally and correctly.  That has also drawn criticism in the wake of ongoing mistakes, errors and scandals.

“Over a dozen Billings-area voters have complained that they received incorrect ballots.  Yellowstone county officials have also reported numerous complaints from voters receiving the wrong ballot,” Red State reports.

Additionally “a sample ballot available to individual voters on the Montana Secretary of State’s website is incorrect (this particular ballot allows the voter to select a state representative in two separate districts — districts 68 and 83).  A majority of Montana voters are expected to vote by mail this November.”

The problems have not been corrected.  In the last few weeks McCulloch delivered ballots to people who were not registered at legal addresses.

McCulloch’s unlawful ballots benefit candidates supported by George Soros, who bankrolled her election.  Investigators are now looking into McCulloch.
