We correct errors of fact promptly and openly.
- How to report: email contact@montanastatesman.com with the article link, the error and, if possible, a source that shows the correct information.
- What we do: an editor reviews every request. When we confirm an error, we fix the article and add a dated correction note at the bottom saying what changed.
- Minor fixes such as typos and broken links may be made without a note.
- We do not quietly delete published articles to hide errors.
